A 10-year-old boy, Tasi’u Abdullahi, was brutally murdered by his kidnappers in the Rikkos community of Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State. Despite his parents paying N150,000 as part of the ransom demanded, the kidnappers still killed the young boy.
According to Abdullahi’s uncle, Aliyu Muhammad, the boy was kidnapped on December 25, 2024, after being lured by unknown individuals. The kidnappers contacted the family five days later, demanding N1 million in ransom and N50,000 for the boy’s feeding.
After negotiations, the kidnappers agreed to accept N300,000, and the family paid N150,000 through a bank transfer. However, the kidnappers called the family the next day to inform them that the boy had been killed and abandoned near their house.
