13th Anniversary: Legacy of Service of Chief Amos Akhagbe Isei lives on—Hon Florence Gbinigie

The President of Forum of Nigeria Women in Politics, FONWIP, Hon.Amb, D’ness Florence Gbinigie, PhD. JP has eulogized a community builder and a champion of faith, Chief (Barr.) Amos Akhagbe Isei for living a life of service.

In a statement to commemorate the 13th anniversary of the death of Chief Amos Akhagbe Isei by Hon Gbinigie noted that he was a special in-law, who was also like a father to her.

The late Amos Isei held the esteemed position of Venerable Most Superior Evangelist in the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC).

He was also known as a Prophet and served as the Shepherd and Provincial Head of CCC Lagos Island Province, Lagos.

He was a highly regarded figure within the church, known for his dedication, and was a close associate of the church’s founder, Reverend S.B.J. Oshoffa, and other past church leaders.

Besides his ecclesiastical positions, Chief Akhagbe was a qualified Barrister, Solicitor, and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, holding a master’s degree in Law. He was an elder statesman and a community leader of repute in Afuze and the whole of Edo North, known for his benevolence to the less privileged. He was also a political juggernaut, who had close associates with the high and mighty politicians in Nigeria and oversees.

According to Hon Florence Gbinigie, a Former Commissioner for Women Affairs in Edo State, the legacy of service of Chief Amos Akhagbe Isei lives on. May his soul continue to rest in peace. Amen
