Mohammed Ibrahim, 26, was given a three-month prison sentence on Monday by a Jos area court for defrauding a Point of Sale operator of N28,00019 June 2023: Customs detain a Kebbi man and seize N64.6 million in illegal goods
After the defendant admitted his guilt and begged the court for leniency, Mr. Shawomi Bokkos, the judge, handed down the sentence.
The judge offered the convict the chance to pay a fine of N10,000.
The case was reported to the Jos “C” division police station on May 2 by Mr. Shaibu Mohammed, a POS operator, according to the police prosecutor, Insp. Ibrahim Gokwat.
