The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate for Ogun State for the 2027 election, Senator Solomon Adeola, wey dem dey call Yayi, don reveal say e get plan to Appoint late veteran Yoruba actor, Ogogo, as Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism if e win the governorship election.
Yayi, wey currently dey represent Ogun West Senatorial District, make this revelation when e visit the family of the late actor for their country home in Ilaro on Tuesday.
According to the senator, e no just plan to make Ogogo Special Adviser. E say e dey also consider giving the actor a bigger role as a full cabinet member if e eventually become governor.
In a video wey don dey circulate for social media, Yayi explain say the appointment na part of the plans wey e don already make for his government.
He said he had planned to appoint Ogogo as his Special Adviser on Culture and Tourism and possibly make am a full cabinet member if he won the election and became governor.
Yayi also reveal say he keep the plan to himself while hoping and believing say God go make am possible.
During the actor’s illness, Yayi was among the people wey provide major financial support for his treatment and reportedly helped to take care of his medical bills.
