The Kano Independent Research Centre Trust, on Sunday, offered free medical services to about 3,000 people from Dawakin kudu rural community.
Dr Jameel Ahmad, Chief Medical Director of the centre, during the free medical outreach, said, “The centre organised the programme, to offer free medical services to patients within the community, who cannot afford the high cost of quality medical services, it has been very interesting as 1000 persons have been diagnosed and received treatment free of charge”.
He said, the services are part of the centre’s Corporate Social Responsibility and for underprivileged members of Dawakin kudu, a predominantly rural community.
