In an attempt to navigate the obstruction, another driver, operating a Sino truck loaded with granites, collided with the fallen truck from behind. Oguyemi detailed the specific vehicles affected by the incident, which included a diverse array of automobiles: a Ford jeep, a Nissan jeep, a Toyota Sienna, a Toyota Highlander, a Mazda bus, a Toyota bus, the aforementioned Scania truck, and a Toyota Camry. Remarkably, despite the scale of the accident, none of the 32 individuals involved—comprising 20 adult males and 12 adult females sustained serious injuries or fatalities.
The aftermath of the collisions caused significant traffic disruption along this busy expressway. However, the prompt response from TRACE operatives and the Sagamu police division played a crucial role in restoring normalcy to the area.
