The Executive Chairman of Oredo Local Government Council, Hon. Engr. Gabriel Iduseri, has commended the Edo State Governor, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his impactful leadership and visible achievements within his first 365 days in office.
Speaking at the grand event tagged “365 Days of Practical Governance” held at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Hon. Iduseri praised the Governor’s Project SHINE Agenda, noting that it has already begun yielding tangible results, particularly at the grassroots.
He highlighted the “Operation Keep Oredo Clean” campaign as one of the many ways his council has aligned with the Governor’s vision for a clean, healthy, and safe Edo.
Hon. Iduseri described Governor Okpebholo as a courageous, humble, and detribalized leader whose administration has rekindled hope among Edo people. He reaffirmed Oredo’s unwavering commitment to the Governor’s agenda and pledged that the local government would deliver on the 2.5 million votes target for the APC in the 2027 elections.
The celebration featured a documentary showcasing Governor Okpebholo’s achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and security.
Cultural performances and goodwill messages poured in from political leaders, party faithful, and dignitaries across the state. Notably, a moving address from the Office of the First Lady, delivered by Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo-Anani, added a unique touch to the occasion.
In his address, Governor Okpebholo expressed deep gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his guidance and support, which he credited as foundational to the success of his administration.
He also appreciated the presence of His Royal Majesty, Oba Ewuare II, and the Palace Chiefs for honoring the event.
The Governor reiterated his administration’s resolve to sustain development, assuring citizens that the successes of the past year are only the beginning.
With expanded road networks, strengthened anti-cultism efforts, improved healthcare delivery, enhanced teacher recruitment, and agricultural expansion already underway, Governor Okpebholo promised greater achievements in the years ahead.
