50 Cent, an American rapper, actor, and producer, has said that he will soon release a movie series based on convicted Nigerian internet scammer Ramon Abass, better known by his online alias Hushpuppi.
This past Wednesday, 50 Cent announced on Facebook that he was developing a movie series based on the life of Hushpuppi. He included several photos of the character in his post.
He penned, “I have to pull this one for my con artists. New episodes of Hushpuppy will be available soon. I don’t miss the Green Light Gang at all. Use the hashtags “#Bransoncognac #lecheminduroi #gunitfilmandtv” and “#gunitfilmandtv.”

In 2020, Hushpuppi was apprehended in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for defrauding over 1.9 million individuals worldwide.
Hushpuppi was arrested by Dubai police, who turned him over to the FBI. The FBI then requested that he be extradited to the United States to face charges.
The worldwide con artist was given a sentence of almost 11 years in federal prison on Tuesday.
Judge Otis D. Wright II of the United States District Court ruled that the 40-year-old convicted criminal must pay $1,732,841 to two victims of fraud.
