The first reports of election outcomes are beginning to trickle in from voting places all around the nation.
Several polling places around Nigeria did not begin the voting process at the scheduled 8:30 a.m.
However, when elections began on time, voting concluded at 2:30 as expected.
More than 87 million Nigerians, who had already obtained their voter registration cards, could cast ballots in the elections, which saw the West African nation pick a new president and federal MPs.
OBALAND NEWS correspondent gathered that Newsmen from various pulling centers and its partner organisation, CJID, sent observers to every state in the nation.
There are a total of eighteen people up for president. Just four, though, stand out as serious competitors. Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP.
