Actor and comedian AY Makun discusses the recent elections in Lagos and criticizes the incumbent, FFK.

A member of the All Progressives Congress presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode, has come under fire from comedian AY Makun for promoting hate towards Igbos in Lagos. He was responding to the March 18th Lagos elections. Remember that many Igbos were attacked for their support of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, preventing them from casting ballots in several areas of Lagos.

In many locations, political thugs were spotted urging Igbos to stay home on election day. This resulted in many Labour Party supporters being denied their democratic rights. Other prominent figures, including Fani-Kayode, have also been vocal advocates of ethnic hatred and incitement against the Igbo people on social media. AY composed this as a direct response to the hatred she felt during the election process.

After the elections in Lagos State are concluded, “I am confident all these comments about BIGOTS & MAGGOTS will finish on the lips of some COCONUT heads like d FOOLISH FEDERAL KOLA-NUT (FFK) aspirants, Una for tell us wetin una what we Yoruba lads to do with our Igbo wives & children,” he said.
