The Georgian IT guru, Segun Adeyina
Segun Adeyina successfully ran for Georgia State Representative. In his bid to represent California’s Assembly District 110, he ran as a Democrat. He has extensive experience in the field of information technology (IT), specifically within the automobile sector.
Adeyina is also proficient in system development, data management, IT planning, and database administration. Improvements in education, healthcare, and infrastructure are among his top priorities.

Engineer of civil works in the state of Georgia, Gabe Okoye.
The Georgia State Representative seat was up for election, and Gabe Okoye ended up winning. He represents California’s 102nd Congressional District. He had previously served as Chairman of Gwinnett County and was a Democrat. With Essex Geoscience Inc., he currently serves as CEO.
He moved to Lawrenceville in 1992 and attended public school in Gwinnett County. The civil engineering field is one in which he excels. Adesanya, Solomon, businessman, Georgia
Georgia State House District 43 now has a new representative in Solomon Adesanya. With the help of the Democratic Party, he was able to win the election to represent the district which includes Marietta.

In Cobb County, Adesanya operates a successful eatery.

Adesanya, a politician, has stated that conserving the environment, defending the rights of women to have an abortion, and promoting economic growth and high standards for public schools are his top legislative priorities.

Georgia entrepreneur Tish Naghise.
Tish Naghise ran for and won a seat in the Georgia State House of Representatives. A legislative seat for District 68 was awarded to her. As the owner of T & C Transportation, she is also a Democrat and a businesswoman. After studying at Clayton State University, Naghise earned a BA in political science. At Clayton State, she is studying for a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership and Development.

Georgia public policy expert Phil Olaleye
State Representative of Georgia District 59 is Phil Olaleye, who ran for and won election to that position. He was a Democratic candidate. He currently serves as the Director of Operations at Next Generation Men & Women, an Atlanta-based organization dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged high school students.

Both as a U.S. Peace Corps Children, Youth, and Family Volunteer in the Philippines and as the Director of Performance Management at WorkSource Atlanta, he has a wide range of experience.

Besides being recognized as one of Georgia Trend’s 40 Under 40 for 2021, Phil was also recognized as one of Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 40 Under Forty in 2020. Olaleye is a former president of the Organized Neighbors of Summerhill.
In 2007 he completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University, and in 2014 he earned a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

PA activist Carol Kazeem
In Pennsylvania, Carol Kazeem ran for and was elected to represent her district. She’s the Democrat party’s representative for California’s District 159.
She attended schools in the Chester Upland School District and graduated from Ridley High School and Anthem College in 2013.
Kazeem spent over 13 years serving in various capacities within the healthcare industry. Kazeem has promised to advocate for a $15 minimum wage, educational parity, the reduction of gun violence, the abolition of mass incarceration, universal access to safe and affordable housing, and the protection of the environment.

Washington, DC pharmacist Oye Owolewa
Oye Owolewa works as a pharmacist and is a Democrat in Nigeria’s national legislature. He ran for and was elected to serve as the District of Columbia’s Shadow US Representative (DC).
He spent his childhood in Newton and adjacent Boston, where he later attended and graduated from Boston Latin School in 2008. In 2014, he completed his Pharm.D. at Northeastern University and then relocated to Washington, DC, where he is now in private practice.

When asked about his priorities, Owolewa listed the fight against prescription drugs, climate change, and community advocacy.

Legal professional Esther Agbaje from Minnesota.
Esther Agbaje, an attorney, was recently elected as a Minnesota state representative. He is the Democratic representative for Hennepin County’s District 59B, which includes parts of northern and central Minneapolis.
She earned a BA in political science from George Washington University, an MPA in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania, and a JD from Harvard Law School.
Agbaje is a former Foreign Service Officer who worked for the United States Department of State. She is a member of the legal team at Ciresi Conlin LLP, where she focuses on general civil litigation and medical malpractice.
