Amotekun captures 80-year-old Ekiti man, others for defacing

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has strutted 80-year-old Michael and 60-year-old Oladosu for supposedly vandalizing hardware of the Ekiti State Water Company at Okemesi Ekiti in the Ganduje didn’t take N10bn advance for CCTV cameras – Ex-chiefEkiti West Nearby Government region of the state.

Brig.-Gen., the Commandant of the Corps Joe Komolafe, former who marched the suspects on Thursday, said Michael and Oladosu were captured by Amotekun agents at Okemesi Ekiti while purportedly vandalizing hardware having a place with the state water organization.

He said the corps agents likewise captured three suspects for supposedly breaking into a private house in the Tinuola area of Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

Komolafe said the suspects, 26-year-old Rufai, 30-year-old Ibrahim and 30-year-old Yahaya, were captured fully backed up by inhabitants of the area.

He stated, “Our operatives received a distress call from a member of the public in the early hours of ThursdayAmotekun captures 80-year-old Ekiti man, others for defacing that some suspected vandals had broken into a residential house in the area and vandalized a pumping machine installed in one of the houses in the area, following which they went into action.”

The suspects, according to the corps commandant, would be turned over to the police for additional investigation and prosecution.

He encouraged occupants of the state not to hold back in giving applicable data that would help the corps in its tasks and too help with freeing the condition of crimes.

Komolafe emphasized the availability of the corps to keep on guaranteeing the security of the lives and property of individuals of the state.
