With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of one of our esteemed members, Mrs. Rita Ofure Obidike, an illustrious indigene of Edo State, who was called to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 21st, 2025.
Mrs. Obidike was a devoted supporter of the Edo community and made invaluable contributions both through wise counsel and generous financial support to numerous Edo programs and initiatives.
She was also a pillar of the VGC community, serving tirelessly in various capacities: from overseeing operations in VGC Mall to holding the position of Vice-Chairman of VGCPORA from 2014 to 2019, and currently as a member of the Board of Trustees.
We kindly ask everyone to keep her family in their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
May the Almighty grant them strength, peace, and comfort 🙏
