Rome, Italy | June 27 2026 the APC Diaspora Global Women Summit 2026 is taking place in Rome, Italy, bringing together Nigerian women leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and political stakeholders from across the diaspora under the theme “From Renewed Hope to Lasting Impact: Diaspora Women Advancing Impactful Continuity.”
The summit is hosted by Prince Chima Ibezim and is spearheaded by Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele, APC National Women Leader, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the role of women in leadership, governance, and national development.
The event also enjoys the support of the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, whose leadership continues to promote the party’s engagement with Nigerians in the diaspora.
Among the distinguished attendees is Dr. Mrs. Oduware Ogboro-Okor, Director General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, whose presence reflects Edo State’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with its citizens living abroad.
Also in attendance is Hon. Dr. Mary Alile Idele, APC National Women Leader, alongside Professor Hafsat Ganduje, women leaders, community representatives, professionals, entrepreneurs, youth delegates, and APC members from across Europe and other parts of the world.
Throughout the summit, participants are discussing strategies to enhance women’s political participation, economic empowerment, diaspora investment, youth inclusion, and stronger collaboration between Nigerians at home and abroad. Speakers emphasized unity, innovation, and purposeful leadership as key drivers of sustainable national development.
