The Office of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Women Leader has confirmed the appointment of Ms. Isioma Theodora Ndah, LLB, ACIMC, ASPSP, FCISM, as the South-South Coordinator for the Reserved Seats for Women Bill.
The appointment was announced by Dr. Mary Alile Idele, PhD, APC’s National Woman Leader, who described Ms. Ndah as an experienced political figure with proven capacity in mobilization and leadership.
Ms. Ndah, from Delta State, was the APC candidate for the Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency in the 2019 General Election. She also serves as the National Coordinator of the National Frontiers and Mobilisation Initiative and the Odinma Anioma Group, both APC support groups.
The Reserved Seats for Women Bill is a constitutional reform proposal aimed at addressing Nigeria’s significant gender imbalance in politics by creating additional legislative seats exclusively for women. The bill, strongly championed by Dr. Idele through town halls and advocacy campaigns, is scheduled for its third reading in October 2025.
According to the APC Women Leader’s office, Ms. Ndah’s wealth of political experience and grassroots influence will be instrumental in driving awareness and support for the bill across the South-South region.
