Nigerian veteran actress, Stella Damasus has reacted to the infamous suspension of Twitter in Nigeria.
The veteran film star and US-based mother of two took to her Twitter page to state that the country is going through many problems such that it would be impossible to silence the voice of the people through the Twitter ban.
In her words:
“The state of the economy is in shambles. People are being killed, there are no jobs, food is expensive, no electricity, the education system is a joke, yet we find a way to survive. And you still want to silence the voice of the people … Rubbish #KeepitOn #NigeriaBelongsToUs”
