a Chinese boy was stabbed in the back before dawn yesterday, Sunday 1 January 2022, via San Massimo at the corner with Giolitti in Turin. Fortunately, he is not in serious condition: he was transported by ambulance to the CTO hospital where he was treated and discharged with a week’s prognosis. The police cars intervened on the spot, which started the investigation. The hypothesis is that it was an attempted robbery. At the moment there are no people arrested for what happened: the person who committed the act fled without a trace. Two Moroccans aged 25 and 24 were arrested for the incident a couple of hours later in via Della Rocca at the corner via Giolitti: for them the charges, which concern this and other episodes, are of attempted aggravated robbery, receiving stolen goods and multi-aggravated theft both in competition. The youngest must also answer for injuries. Both were recognized by the victim, who had described them to the investigators. When the flying team patrols intercepted them, the two were hitting shop windows, two of which, that of a bar and that of a clothing store, were damaged with a hole with traces of entry inside. In the first case, cash and a notebook had been stolen. A mobile phone stolen about an hour earlier from a man in Piazza Vittorio Veneto was also found on one of the two. Both then had various goods with them which they were unable to justify their possession.
