Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, made this disclosure during a press conference held at the coroner’s inquest in Lagos State.

The pathologist in charge of the autopsy stated that the body had decomposed by the time the test was conducted, making it impossible to determine the cause of death. The pathologist suggested that the late singer might have had a reaction to certain drugs administered to him before his death, but he couldn’t confirm if the drugs were the actual cause. Shittu urged the public to wait for the full report and not jump to conclusions based on the limited information available.

Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Music owned by Naira Marley, passed away on September 12 at the age of 27, sparking controversy on social media. The Lagos State Police Command initiated an investigation into his death and formed a 13-member special investigation team.  his corpse was exhumed for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The toxicology test, which was conducted to shed light on the cause of the music star’s death, has been concluded, and the results were sent to the pathologist for analysis and interpretation. However, the full report is yet to be released, and the pathologist will be cross-examined to provide further clarification on the outcome.

It is important to note that the cause of Mohbad’s death remains unknown, and speculations should be avoided until the complete report is available. The investigation into his death has raised questions and led to the arrest of individuals, including Naira Marley and Balogun Eletu. As the public awaits further information, it is crucial to rely on verified facts and avoid drawing premature conclusions.
