President-elect of the United States, Joe Biden is putting together his team ahead of his inauguration on January 20, 2021.
Obaland Magazine learnt that among Biden’s team of top cabinet picks and economic advisers are 39-year old Nigeria-born Adewale Adeyemo, who served as a senior international economic adviser in the Barack Obama administration.
Adeyemo has extensive experience working at the Treasury Department during the Obama administration.
Adeyemo will be handed the role of Deputy Treasury Secretary.
Adeyemo is an Attorney and political advisor. He served as the first president of the Obama Foundation during the Obama Administration.
Adeyemo served as the Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economics from 2015 to 2016 and Deputy Director of the National Economic Council.
