Blessing CEO Arraigned Over Alleged N36m Real Estate Fraud, Remanded in EFCC Custody

Social media influencer and relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, was arraigned on Friday before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, over an alleged N36 million fraud.

She faces a two-count charge from the EFCC’s Lagos Zonal Directorate 1 for obtaining money by false pretence and theft.

According to the charge, Blessing CEO allegedly collected N36 million from Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and 17, 2024. The money was supposedly for a six-bedroom duplex in Lekki, Lagos. The prosecution claims the representation was false and that she converted the funds for personal use, in violation of the Advance Fee Fraud Act, 2006 and the Criminal Code ActBlessing CEO Arraigned Over Alleged N36m Real Estate Fraud, Remanded in EFCC Custody

The prosecution asked that she be remanded pending trial. The defence said she had just been served the charges and was preparing a bail application.

Justice D. I. Dipeolu ordered that she be remanded in EFCC custody until her bail application is heard. The case was adjourned to June 5, 2026, for trial
