Boko Haram Strikes Chibok: Two Lives Lost, Food Supplies Plundered in Attack

Boko Haram militants attacked Chibok town in Borno State, resulting in two casualties and numerous injuries. The assailants, known for the infamous 2014 abduction at the Government Girls Secondary School, unleashed violence, causing residents to flee into nearby bushes. Homes were set ablaze, and food items were looted during the rampage. The Borno Police Command confirmed the attack, stating that a joint effort involving the military, police, and local vigilante successfully repelled the assailants. Unfortunately, two individuals lost their lives during the attack: Mr. Badi, aged 75, and Ngule, aged 45.

The police assured that the situation has returned to normal, though the full extent of casualties remains uncertain as villagers gradually return home
