As the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic gathers momentum, chief Ejadike has been at the forefront of the struggle especially among his community men in Nnewi and in his extended home in Kwara state where he has not stopped giving out palliatives to people near and far, as a way of encouraging them to stay safe from this raging pandemic.
He extended his touch of love to the media on Sunday by donating a token to sports journalists on the Nigeria sports mouthpiece NSM, Nigeria number one, sports WhatsApp platform.
He also appealed to members to use the money to buy hand sanitizers, gloves and face masks during this period. He prayed that this too shall pass away in due course.

Chief Ejike hails from Eastern part of Nigeria, precisely from the town of Nnewi in Anambra state to finally relocate and reside in his adopted city of Ilorin in Kwara state. He became stardom for being a successful businessman, a progressive industrialist, a relentless philanthropist and a talk and do administrator.

Biography:
Born in Nnewi, Anambra state to the family of Chief  & Mrs Agu Ejidike from Agu Ejidike compound Ummu Ezeagu – Uruagu, Nnewi of Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State,
Agu Ejidike was born and brought up from a humble background,  though he wasn’t born with the proverbial silver spoon, a devoted Christian by religion and Igbo by the tribe. He is married to Evangelist Mrs.Chidi Ejidike with children.

Early Life/Educational career:
He had his primary education at St. Mary primary school, Nnewi from 1969 to 1974 before embarking on business apprenticeship. Chief Agu Ejidike, because of his love for education, acquired a Diploma Certificate in Computer in 1998 and the West Africa School Certificate WAEC, from  Idofian Grammar School, Indian, Kwara State, Nigeria in 2003. His urge and quest for education spurred him to read literature and publications as a way of keeping himself abreast with the latest happenings in the world.

Sports:
His passion for sports did not start yesterday, he was chairman of Kwara State Gymnastics Federation between 2008 and 2011 and has won several honours from recognised organisations and well-meaning Nigerians because of his selfless service to humanity and his investments in Nigerian youths.
His emergence as a Pillar of sports didn’t come as a surprise to many, knowing the huge impact he has made as a key stakeholder.
Only recently, the business mogul Chief Agu Ejidike, aligned with the vision of the Sports ministry by accepting to adopt one of Nigeria’s athletes in the buildup to the Tokyo Olympic Games. Though he is yet to actualise this dream, modalities are already in place to make it a reality. His flair for sports and contributions in the aspect of promotion and development spurred Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN National Head Quarter, to install him as Nigeria PILLAR OF SPORTS.

Controversy :

His achievements in one decade have made him the talk of the town especially among the media, as practitioners have started clamouring that the federal government reward him for his steadfastness in the area of youth emancipation, promotion and encouragement.
.They have called on the honourable minister of youth and sports, Sunday Dare, to recommend Chief Donatus Ejidike to Mr President for a National award.

Philanthropism :
Chief Agu Ejidike and Wife  Evangelist Mrs.Chidi Ejidike has philanthropic instinct in him, no wonder in his community, church, and where he lives; he touches and contributes his little quota to the growth and development of humanity.

Travel Education:

A well-travelled business mogul has visited several countries of the world among which are: Germany, Switzerland, India, Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Israel and England.
