Senator Okpebholo’s vision for Edo State is rooted in the inclusivity of all Edo State people and all friends of Edo State for a humane sustainable development. Recognizing the vast resources and talents of the Edo State diaspora community, he conceived D.A.M as a platform to bridge the gap between Edo State and its global citizens. The movement aims to foster collaboration, investment, and the exchange of ideas to address local challenges and create opportunities for all. It will also enable assistance when required by our people who need it in the Diaspora.

Furthermore, the Diaspora Akpakomiza Movement (DAM) is an innovative initiative designed to:

1. *Engage the Edo State Diaspora on a multi-lateral front:* D.A.M seeks to connect Edo State’s global diaspora with the governance selection and accountability checks mechanism, optimising local projects and initiatives while leveraging their expertise, resources, as well as networks.

2. *Encourage engagement in deciding who governs the state as well as bring in innovation:* Allowing the diasporan inclusivity devoid of party boundaries in propagating who leads the state. Then, work to tap into the innovative spirit of the diaspora to introduce new technologies and practices that can enhance productivity and efficiency in various sectors of our shared development.

Our DAM Call to Action is now! As we seek to amplify
Senator Monday Okpebholo a.k.a Akpakomiza’s call on all Edo State indigenes, both at home and abroad, who are not keen on political party affiliations to join the cross-party Diaspora Akpakomiza Movement. By working together, we can unlock the immense potential of our state and build a future where every Edo State citizen thrives.

With his track record of effective leadership and his unwavering commitment to the people, Senator Okpebholo is poised to lead Edo State into a new era of prosperity and innovation. The Diaspora Akpakomiza Movement is more than a campaign promise; it is a blueprint for a brighter, more inclusive future.
