Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a ₦30 reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), bringing the cost down from ₦850 to ₦820 per litre.
In a statement signed by the Refinery’s Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Anthony Chiejina, the company said the new price took effect on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
According to Chiejina, the price review reflects the Refinery’s commitment to supporting national development and ensuring a steady, uninterrupted supply of petroleum products across the country.
The statement also disclosed plans to begin the phased deployment of 4,000 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)-powered trucks for fuel distribution nationwide, starting August 15, 2025. Dangote said the initiative is in line with its focus on operational efficiency, sustainable energy solutions, and reducing dependence on diesel-powered logistics
