Napoli, Italy – 27/05/2025 – The Director General of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, Dr. Mrs. Loretta Oduware Ogboro-Okor, has arrived in Napoli alongside her official entourage, including Prince Kelly and members of the Diaspora Media Team, as part of her ongoing European tour to engage with Edo indigenes abroad.
This visit marks another milestone in the harmonization and awareness campaign of the Edo State Diaspora Agency, a visionary initiative launched by the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo. The campaign aims to strengthen the relationship between Edo State and its diaspora communities, promoting unity, collaboration, and active involvement in the state’s development.
Following successful engagements in Rome and Verona, the Napoli stop is expected to foster deeper conversations with the Edo community in southern Italy, allowing the DG to share the agency’s mission, listen to the concerns of the diaspora, and outline opportunities for partnership.
Dr. Ogboro-Okor’s presence in Napoli underscores the state’s renewed commitment to building an inclusive global network of Edo citizens contributing to the growth and prosperity of the homeland.
