Auwal Usman, 32, was given a sentence by the Bauchi State Chief Magistrates’ Court for cutting off his friend’s hands with a machete in the state.

The remaining hand was left hanging while one of the hands gave way.
Musa went on to say, “Abduwa was rushed to the Ningi General Hospital for medical attention, where the remaining hand was amputated to save his life because he had suffered serious injuries as a result of the deep cut.” This is in violation of the penal code’s Section 241.
At the point when the charges were perused to the suspect, he conceded to committing them however argued for mercy from the court since he was a first wrongdoer.
Mamman stated in his judgment that the court was persuaded that the heinous act of the suspect caused the victim to lose both of his hands, rendering him permanently disabled.
