Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki will on Monday November 29th, 2021 present the year 2022 appropriation bill to the state assembly for consideration and passage.
The speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun made this known yesterday during plenary in Benin city
According to the speaker, all modalities that would ensure a hitch-free presentation and coverage of the year 2022 budget are expected to be activated.
He urged all the lawmakers and staff of the state assembly to endeavor to be available for the presentation.
Meanwhile, 15 copies of a bill for a law to establish the Edo state Diaspora Agency and other matters connected therewith have been forwarded to the state assembly for consideration and passage.
This was contained in a letter dated November 8th and signed by the Secretary to the state government , Barr.Osarodion Ogie.
