The Edo State Government has issued a stern warning to land grabbers, encroachers, and speculators operating illegally on the Lot A parcel of land, popularly known as Coral City, within the Obagie Acquisition in Benin City.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Fred Itua, the entire Obagie Acquisition belongs to the Edo State Government. However, plans are underway to return Lots B, C, and D to their original owners and occupants.
The Government described this as a final warning to all individuals or groups engaged in the sale, purchase, or development of land within Lot A or other government-acquired areas across the State.
The statement further warned that any illegal structures in the affected area would be demolished, while offenders would face prosecution.
