Edo Govt Lauded for Building Standard Orientation Camp for Corps Members

Edo State Government has been commended for building the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Okada  which will become the new standard for all Orientation camps nationwide.
The commendation was made by the state Coordinator, NYSC, Edo state, Malam Sulaiman Ibrahim at the swearing in ceremony of the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream II Corps Members deployed to Edo State held at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp.
“It is most gratifying to place on record that  this  Permanent Orientation Camp, which has been a long aged dream of the NYSC family was brought into fruition by the present administration.
“I am indeed confident that upon its completion, the NYSC Edo Camp will become the new standard for all Orientation Camps nationwide. I am highly delighted  to welcome you all on behalf of the Director General of NYSC, Brig. Gen Y.D Ahmed DSS, management, staff and course participants to the 2023  Batch C Stream II swearing in ceremony that marks the commencement of orientation course for corps members deployed to the state.
“I consider it a great privilege to welcome His Excellency, the Governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki ably represented by Hon Zubairu Dada Abubakar , Commissioner for Youth and Humanitarian Affairs and other highly distinguished personalities to this eventful occasion.
The NYSC Coordinator  who disclosed that NYSC Edo state joined her counterparts all over the Federation and kicked off the Orientation course on Friday 24th November 2023 congratulated the Corps Members for their success in their final examinations at their various institutions of learning which qualified them to be enlisted for the service of their father land.
Edo State Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth and Humanitarian Affairs, Hon Zubairu Dada Abubakar declared the Orientation Course open while the Chief Judge of Edo State represented by Hon Justice Irobosa Omotosho administered the oath of allegiance on the Corps members.
