Edo Residents Hail Okpebholo’s Developmental Strides During Project Inspection Tour

Residents of Udomi Community in Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State have commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for what they described as unprecedented development in the area, following his inspection of several ongoing projects on Saturday.

The governor toured key projects currently under construction, including a 150-bed Edo Specialist Hospital, hostel accommodation, a School of Nursing Sciences, a Senate Building, and the Udomi Holiday Resort Centre.

Hundreds of residents gathered to welcome the governor and expressed appreciation for the various infrastructural projects being executed across the community and other parts of the state.

Speaking during the visit, a resident, Mrs. Theresa Ehimentafor, praised Governor Okpebholo for bringing meaningful development to Udomi, noting that the community had never witnessed such level of government presence.

“The developments brought to our community by Governor Okpebholo are commendable. We are proud of him and grateful for his commitment to improving our lives,” she said.

Another resident, Mr. Akhere Okosun, described the projects as historic milestones for the community.

“This is the first time our community is having a teaching hospital, an army base, and a holiday resort centre. We are excited to see these projects taking shape under Governor Okpebholo’s administration,” he said.

Also speaking, Ms. Omozusi Osolease said the governor had transformed the fortunes of the community through strategic investments in infrastructure and public services.

“Udomi has witnessed remarkable progress under Governor Okpebholo. We now have better educational facilities, more teachers in our primary schools, employment opportunities for youths, and major projects that are changing the face of our community. We pray that God continues to protect and guide him,” she stated.

The ongoing projects are part of the Edo State Government’s efforts to improve healthcare, education, tourism, security, and overall socio-economic development across the state.
