In preparation for the festive season, Commissioner of Police Aboki Danjuma has intensified security measures in Imo state, targeting areas like Aro Ofeimo Junction, Amuro, Ama Mmadubuike, New General Hospital Aro Umulolo, Okigwe Police Divisional Headquarters, Area Command, Eke Okigwe Market, Army Base, and Garki Market.
The focus is on ensuring a Christmas and New Year for the residents amid the ongoing Security challenges in the Okigwe region.
The CP emphasized the residents’ right to enjoy the holidays and urged them to return home for the season. The police command is actively combating insurgents to create a secure environment.
