On the 30th September 2021, the former Edo State Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Hon. Osaze Osemwegie-Ero in the company of family, friends and believers of equal rights and fair justice to Nigerians incarcerated in prisons around the World, particularly Italian prisons. Obaland magazine correspondent in Uk said that during the intercross discussion with the Nigerian citizens in the UK they conveyed the reasons for the peaceful protest done by Mr Ero.
Here, he read his petition to the press and crowd present before handing the petition letters over to an official of the Embassy.
According to Obaland correspondent report, says that British Police attended the scene but greeted & went away having ascertained it was a peaceful exercise within one’s right.
