The Governor-elect in Gombe State, Muhammadu Yahaya; his deputy, Dr Manassah Jatau; and 24 members-elect of the house of assembly, has on Thursday received their Certificates of Return.
The Governor who is elected for the second term has advised opposition parties to support his Government.
Shortly after receiving his Certificate of Return which was presented by an official of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Yahaya urged opposition to join hands with his administration towards uplifting the state.
He noted that his triumph at the poll wasn’t only for him, as there was no winner and loser, because every candidate was geared towards contributing positive to the development of Gombe.
