Gunmen kill Miyetti Allah chairman in Kwara

Unknown gunmen killed Alhaji Idris Abubakar Sakaina, the Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in Kwara State. The incident occurred as he was returning home around 10 pm and was shot dead in front of his residence. The Kwara State police command also confirmed the killing and stated that they recovered five expended shells from the scene, ensuring that the perpetrators would be brought to justice. The burial of the MACBAN Chairman took place the following morning at the Zango area of Ilorin.
The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Kwara State Chapter, expressed shock over the murder and called for swift action to track down the assailants.
The group also appealed to the state government to provide support for the victim’s family in terms of education and welfare.
