The senatorial ambition of Osagie Ize-Iyamu to represent Edo South has received a boost following endorsements from prominent political figures.
A former Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Edo State, Samson Osagie, alongside Rt. Hon. Rasaq Bello Osagie, expressed support for Ize-Iyamu, describing him as a dependable leader the Benin people can trust.
The endorsements highlight Ize-Iyamu’s longstanding influence and political roots within the region.
During a recent visit to Rasaq Bello Osagie, Ize-Iyamu formally declared his intention to contest for the Edo South Senatorial seat.
A founding member of the All Progressives Congress, he stated his readiness to bring positive change to the district.
He pledged to reposition Edo South and restore its past prominence if elected.
Ize-Iyamu also emphasized unity as a central theme of his campaign, urging stakeholders in Edo South to work together in pursuit of development.
He assured constituents that, if elected, he would effectively represent their interests and leverage access at the federal level to address key challenges facing the district and the state.
