JAMB Orders 2025 UTME Candidates to Re-Upload WAEC Results

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has directed all 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates who uploaded their O’Level results before the release of the final West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results to return to accredited centres and re-upload them.

In a statement released on its official X handle on Monday, the examination body said it had cleared all earlier uploads from its system to prevent errors during the admission process.

According to JAMB, many candidates who sat the UTME with awaiting results rushed to upload their WAEC results before the final release. To ensure accuracy, the Board said all candidates regardless of whether their results have changed or not must re-upload their 2025 WASSCE results afresh.

The Board warned that failure to comply with the directive could affect a candidate’s admission chances. “Please re-upload your 2025 SSCE result to the JAMB portal without delay,” it advised.

The announcement sparked mixed reactions from candidates, with some expressing frustration over the additional stress. In response to a user’s query on X, JAMB reiterated: “Please visit any of our accredited facilities to verify your result. Thank you.

Candidates are now expected to promptly revisit JAMB-accredited centres across the country to re-upload their WAEC results to avoid being disqualified during the admission process.
