In Saminaka, a town in the Lere Local Government Area of the state, the Police Command in Kaduna State reported that its officers had detained three individuals who were suspected of vandalizing electricity and aluminum cables.
The order’s representative, ASP Mansir Hassan, unveiled this on Sunday in Kaduna.
Hassan expressed that at around 0400hrs on Sunday, the order got data concerning the burglary from a minimal expense lodging region on Kafanchan Street, Saminaka town, that a few obscure people were seen with some power links.
“Our watch group was drafted to the region, and the three suspects who hail from the Ungwan Bawa Region of the town were speedily captured,” he said.
Hassan explained that when the suspects were arrested, they were found to have cutlasses and some aluminum cables.
As indicated by him, they admitted to cutting the links from power shafts raised along the Saminaka-Kafanchan street.
Hassan stated that the investigation was still ongoing and that the incident was promptly reported to the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company.
He added that the suspects would be charged in court upon the fruition of an examination.
