On April 20, 2025, operatives of the command traced and arrested Murtala Salisu, a 27-year-old man from Bare-bari village, Safana LGA, Katsina State, in possession of the suspected tramadol tablets. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to having obtained the illicit drugs from a person in Nassarawa State and implicated his accomplice, Tanimu Abubakar from Jibia LGA, Katsina State.
The suspects were arrested and confessed to the commission of the offense. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to uncover more information about the illicit drug trade in the state.
