Kids FM Festival Brings Smiles and Happiness to Lagos Families

Over 3,000 children and families gathered at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, for the Kids FM Festival. The festival featured star guest Korede Bello, who thrilled kids with live music and cash gifts to young dancers. Other notable guests included Wazobia FM’s Expensive, Ada dum-dum, and female Alhaji Sosorobia, who all came in support. The event included live performances, dance contests, games, and engaging activities like PlayStation, bouncing castles, and talent showcases.

The station’s General Manager, Mr. Tyeng Gang, popularly known as Uncle Gang, said the second edition of the festival was “bigger and better.” He introduced popular presenters like Feta, Small Chops, Captain Lionel, and shows such as Morning Bells and Dreamland Drift. Gang emphasized that Kids FM’s programming aims to entertain and nurture creativity and confidence in young listeners.

Families enjoyed food from Indomie and Kellogg’s, live music, and relaxing on picnic mats. Parents expressed joy and appreciation for the event, with some even promising to enroll their children in dance school. The festival was a success, showcasing Kids FM’s mission to inspire kids and empower parents across Nigeria.

Kids FM has recently expanded to Port Harcourt and Abuja, further growing its mission to provide quality content for children. The festival demonstrated the station’s commitment to creating engaging and educational experiences for young audiences.
