Still basking in the euphoria of its successful outing at its last medical outreach exercise in the Iduowina community, Ovia North East council area, the Lebarty American Leadership Academy bestowed honour on the Iyase of Benin Kingdom and other notable Edo State citizens
At the awards ceremony, various dignitaries and recipients took the opportunity to praise Dr. Nosa Aigbe Lebarty, the founder of the Lebarty American Leadership Academy, for his extraordinary charitable efforts aimed at helping the community.
The event also featured a comprehensive review of the book, The Journey,authored by by Pastor Ovis. Enahoro, the Communications Director of the Lebarty Foundation.
The Book was reviewed by Ignotako Nowinta, a serial Author, media and research consultant.
The 84 pages book tells the story of Dr. Lebarty’s remarkable journey in the field of medicine.
The Lebarty Community Health Foundation is an offshoot of the larger Lebarty American Leadership Academy initiative.
The well-researched book highlights the invaluable contributions of Dr. Lebarty to the healthcare sector, detailing his innovative approaches and advancements in medical practices.
It also sheds light on the numerous challenges he faced during his formative years before ultimately ascending to the pinnacle of his esteemed profession as a leading medical practitioner.
In an engaging and passionate address, Dr. Lebarty characterized himself as a “committed welfarist,” passionately emphasizing that the health and well-being of the citizens of Edo State is his paramount concern.
His dedication to improving the lives of those in his community resonates deeply with his colleagues and the public alike.
During the event, His Royal Highness Aduwa Ogiegbaen, who served as the chairman of the occasion, took the opportunity to extol Dr. Lebarty’s remarkable virtues.
He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the selflessness with which Dr. Lebarty consistently prioritizes the welfare of Edo citizens above all else, reinforcing the importance of leadership rooted in community service.
Among the distinguished individuals honoured at the gathering was Chief Sam Igbe, the respected Iyase of Benin kingdom who is also the patron of the Lebarty foundation.
Chief Igbe took a moment to acknowledge Dr. Lebarty’s significant impact on society, commending him for the transformative changes he has enacted within the healthcare sector and beyond.
The event reached its climax with the presentation of award plaques to the deserving recipients and the celebration of their achievements.
