Lion kills OAU veterinary worker during feeding

Obafemi Awolowo University. It’s indeed a sad event that has led to the loss of Mr. Olabode Olawuyi, the veterinary technologist. The university’s management and staff made efforts to rescue him, but unfortunately,

the incident resulted in his untimely death. The decision to euthanize the lion was made to prevent any further harm.

It’s heartening to know that the university has reached out to the deceased’s family and initiated an investigation into the incident.
