Militia and Armed Herders Terrorize Benue Communities: A Cry for Help

Parts of Katsina-Ala, Benue State, are gripped by renewed violence, as a local militia led by “Heavy” (Oraernyi) and armed herders are accused of attacking Mbajir community, destroying farmlands, and displacing residents. The latest assault occurred on October 26, 2025 when armed men torched crops in Tse Akoso forcing families to flee.
