During a working visit to Ogun State, the Minister stressed the importance of sensitization and awareness-raising efforts to prevent human trafficking. She encouraged mothers to cherish their daughters and help protect them from exploitation, noting that many opportunities exist for young women in Nigeria.

Sulaiman-Ibrahim called for stricter measures to safeguard Nigerian girls and women from trafficking and exploitation. She emphasized the need for safe and legitimate pathways for those seeking opportunities abroad, rather than relying on dubious arrangements.
The Minister praised President Bola Tinubu’s commitment to enhancing the status of women in Nigeria, highlighting the administration’s goal of producing female billionaires, entrepreneurs, and professionals to drive economic growth.
