Navy arrests 11 stowaways from ship bound for Ghana

The Nigerian Navy USS Beecroft on Thursday paraded 11 stowaways who were arrested on board the Canton Expressway in Panama en route to Ghana.

Lieutenant Colonel Ayobami Tunde Ali, who represented the NNS Beecroft Commander, Brigadier General Kolawole Oguntuga, told reporters that the stowaways were arrested by the NNS Beecroft patrol team at about 7pm on Tuesday. Ta.

Handing them over to the Nigerian Immigration Service in Apapa on Thursday, Tunde Ali said: “In a display of extraordinary vigilance, a patrol team from the Nigerian Navy Ship Beecroft succeeded in interdicting and arresting some persons during a routine patrol.” Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at approximately 7:00 p.m., Ghana Hidden area at the rear gate of the Panama-Guangzhou Expressway.
