Nigeria Surpasses 140 Million Internet Users

As of August 2025 more than 140 million Nigerians have access to the internet, pushing the national broadband penetration rate to 48.81 percent. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) disclosed the figure at a business roundtable on broadband investment and critical‑infrastructure protection in Abuja.
