The movie industry places much emphasis on looks or elegance hence, we often address beautiful actresses and handsome actors as screen divas, goddesses, and gods.
For the sake of clarity or emphasis, this writer will be limiting this piece within the context of the actors.
We once had the likes of Richard Mofe-Damijo as the hottest actor in Nollywood. He resigned before the emergence of Ramsey Nouah….then we later had Desmond Elliot who is now a lawmaker, Mike Ezuruonye, and a host of others. They were the super actors who every producer wanted.
These guys held many spellbound and glued to their seats and television sets once they are part of the cast in any movie, drama, or soap.
They have got a class. They are elegant. They have the carriage. They have got charisma. They possess the looks that get producers and directors queueing to have them on set. They have the language.
They are the reason actors and actresses or do we simply say movie practitioners are treated like the true professionals they are. You must break the bank to secure their services and to make your movie sell.
They are brilliant on set. They command the respect. They have swag. They fit into any role. They possess the qualities to play any character. Many even chose to tag them, the ladies men.
It seems a new sheriff is in town…talking about an actor whose fans chose to call the hottest dude in Nollywood. He is Bolanle Ninalowo…simply known as Nino.
This six-footer who has the look of a bodybuilder with his well-built frame is red hot and already has close a 100 movies to his belt and still counting.
He is a superb actor who is hunted by both producers of the orthodox movies which many describe as English movies and as well he is wanted by producers of movies of the Yoruba genre. This makes this chap an A-class actor.
He speaks English delightfully and equally, speaks Yoruba brilliantly. In a recent interview, he branded himself as “Proudly Nigerian”.
This aptly describes an actor who could equally be described as MOST WANTED….in virtually all movies that will hit the shelf each and every week.
BEFORE STORMING NOLLYWOOD
Before Ninalowo’s attempt into the Nollywood or Nigerian movie industry he first worked as an accountant in a bank in the United States of America…then upon relocating back to Nigeria he worked with Guaranty Trust Bank.
Ninalowo’s first attempt into Nollywood was as a movie producer. He produced his first movie titled ‘Rebirth’. Since then, he has discovered that he could combine both roles talking about producing and acting. He has been glorious in the later.
