Oba Ewuare tell the members say, because dem get plenty knowledge, make dem dey use their position dey make Nigerian judiciary strong and keep important records and experience for the institution, both for principle and for practice, as people dey talk say judiciary na the last hope for common person.
He say, “Judiciary na strong foundation for democracy. We fit only pray and continue pray make judiciary continue grow strong. We know say temptation dey, so make Almighty God and our ancestors nor allow anybody shake una. Una go strong.
“When una dey give una decisions, make una stand for truth without fear or favour for anybody. Stand for truth. I always like truth. Nobody fit perfect, but make we try as much as we fit to stand for truth. Make una dey upright. Judiciary na the last hope for common person, as dem dey talk. Abeg, hold that one strongly.”
Before that, leader of the delegation and Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for their annual general meeting for Benin City, Adekunle Edeki, tell the Benin throne say Benin City truly remain the cradle of Black civilization, Edorisiagbon, and praise Oba Ewuare for the important things wey e don achieve for history.
