The Palace of the Oba Ewuare II has announced plans to host a special children’s party as part of activities marking the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.
In a statement issued by the Office of the Chief Press Secretary to the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II invited children between the ages of two and twelve to attend the event at the Oba Palace in Benin City.
The statement said the celebration is scheduled to hold on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
According to the palace, the annual event is aimed at celebrating children while promoting love, unity, and cultural values among the younger generation within the kingdom.
Parents and guardians were encouraged to allow their children participate in the celebration, which is expected to feature entertainment, games, and other fun-filled activities.
