The Osolo of Ado-Odo, Muftau Dosunmu, has been sentenced to six months in prison by a Chief Magistrate Court in Isabo, Abeokuta.
Dosunmu was found guilty of presenting himself as an Oba, a title that was reversed by the Dapo Abiodun administration.
The court ruled on charges including impersonation, disturbance of peace, and unauthorized installation of a Babaloja. Dosunmu plans to appeal the judgment, claiming persecution over the selection of the next Olofin of Ado-Odo.
