Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, on Wednesday inspected the ongoing Ikpoba Hill Flyover project at Ramat Park in Benin City, alongside Channels Television journalist, Seun Okinbaloye.

The inspection formed part of efforts by the state government to highlight key infrastructure projects and their impact. The governor and his entourage took a walk through the construction site and surrounding areas to assess the level of work done.
The visit attracted public attention, as market women, commuters, and residents around Ramat Park expressed excitement over the project. Many were seen chanting slogans in support of the governor and his administration, reflecting growing public approval of the ongoing development.
The presence of a prominent national media figure underscored the government’s strategy to showcase its projects to a wider audience while allowing the progress and public response to speak for themselves.
The Ikpoba Hill Flyover, now over 90 percent completed, is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion and improve connectivity within Benin City when completed.
Dr. Patrick Akhere Ebojele, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, said the administration remains committed to delivering critical infrastructure that will enhance economic activities and improve the quality of life for residents.
